In no restrict Texas hold em' tourneys LIVE games....?

I have been burning lately and playing well and want to improve even more. I've have 4 cashes in a row with a 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th. I've be making the final table but am usually the short stack or almost the shortest stack. I'm wondering if I should be more aggressive when we get down to 2 tables and try to formulate the final table with a bigger stack. But if I do that I also risk not making the final table at all. I've be basically just sitting near and folding and letting the table weed itself out and moving up the ladder that way. Please tender me your thoughts on how to play when the tournament gets down to 2 tables....10 points best answer logically!

Always study how your opponent play the game so it gives you an theory of when you should stay in on "what you would say is **** cards" but as expected can easily turn out being the ahead cards. See what your opponents are betting on normally. Of course alot wont bet precipitate on low cards, but we know they do at times. If you know whos easily bluffed and who is willing to only just bet to stay in on the hand you can glibly get rid of the careful ones precipitate and wait til u have the best mitt of course against the more careful kinda players. Just study your oppenents and how they play, allowing you to enjoy an idea of what they have when placing within bets. Doesnt hurt to watch the players before you in actuality join in (of course you might not be capable of do this before tournaments).
Well, From Experiance. Basically Just Fold On REAL Bad Hands Like That Are Ridiculous. Eventually It'll Be Your Turn To Get Good Hands, And When You Do, Play Dumb And Check Until THe River Has Been Drawn (If Someone Makes Bets Before River Is Drawn ALWAYS Call It If You Think You Have The Best Hand) Then When The Rivers Dealt Just Go All In, Watch The Dumb Asses Call. Voila.
Also When You Just Start The Tourney Try To Call Every Hand As The Blinds Pot Is Normally Low.
Good Luck :D

If your tight the whole tournament then your sign should be able to bluff occasionally. If your so short stacked that a player would get to devout of odds to call you down don't bluff. If explicitly not the case then you should be embark on raising with position, the button or one down, about every three or four rotations regardless of your cards. You HAVE to do this to pick up blinds and so they know you cant be pushed around. If you can gauge your opponent well you should be able to update if you can move all in or not. Unless the big stacks are maniac they don't want to give a free double up anymore than you want to get knock out of the tourney. Work on your aggression but slow and steady wins the race.
