Playing pokerstars when your underaged?
Is it alright to get a parent to make you a pokerstars account and afterwards you can put your own money there? I don't plan to put alot maybe get into the small cents games or something.
I really find texas hold em gripping, and I enjoy playing with my friends and sometimes when they let me my dad and his friends. I own a good understanding of the game (im not a donkey atleast) and would similar to to see how well I do against others.
I understand you can play free games but there is no thrill to that and no opinion of gaining or losing.
I am also 16 by the way with my own situation and everything.

at the higher play money level (80k play money) you'll find games similar to real money games.
ur not gonna be able to use ur own debit/credit card but if ur parents let u retribution them the money and let u use their card to deposit then yes you can do it, illegal but get to be a 0% of getting caught if ur parents are ok with it
You obviously know the answer to this question, it's like asking if its ok to turn to the casino as long as your parents are putting money into the slot machines, it's NO!...... but, if your parents say its ok, id say move about for it. Your obviously going to have to make the story under one of your parents names. I can tell you right very soon that in my experience, no poker site islegit. I can't even begin to count how many times ive run kings into ace or queens into kings/ aces. if your going to play online, you cant play at the lowest stakes available, (like 1-2cent blinds) most people don't play seriously. I'd like to suggest 6 player sit-n-gos(these are awesome) and if your going to play dosh, play at least quarter fifty. I know that sounds kind of steep for a 16yo but it will keep you playing an adjectives around tighter game, which is required to win consistently. If you can stick to sit-n-gos and 25-50 cash games its very uncomplicated to make money. ( the first time i ever played online i put $40 on and ran it up to $1000 over night, i done up at a $1-$2 cash game that was merely out of control! anyways i hope this helps and good luck contained by the future.
by the way, don't sign up with pokerstars, sign up next to ultimate bet.... you will thank me someday
it may be okay, since you're 16, but still, try not to get caught by someone you dn't want getting caught by.
