can u get by in atlantic city beneath age and without ID and play poker without getting caught? do they check everyone's ID at the entery?

Depends on which casinos...Some do, while some dont....if they see you and you look underage, they will card you (mostly for drinking purposes, then gambling purposes 2nd)..I be there today, 22 years old, and didnt even seize carded (and i usually get carded for cigarettes at home)....i actually have 2 people with me that be under 21, but neither one gambled.....i would vote you could get away with it once, but it is sure as hell not worth it....the risk of getting caught is not worth it......and watching poker on tv may appear easy....but playing there is unmerited....you may be a good player, BUT THE CASINO RAKES IN TOO MUCH OF THE POT....usually everyone loses because of the rake they take contained by.....(well maybe 1 or 2 win....thats is)....the only route it is worth playing poker is if you play the bigger stakes (500 min NL, 10-20 limit, 15-30 limit) because they dont rake in as much, and since you are underage, i would not push for that because you can not afford to be playing in those games.....just stay away from AC until you are 21......i dont know where on earth you are from, but TurningStone Resort is in NY (by Syracuse) and that is 18 to seize in to.

Typically if you buy in at a table and create like youve been in that before by chatting with peopel at the table and asking the seller about restauraunts and stuff, they wont hastle you. All bets are off at the borgata though, They self EVERYBODY there.

Its near impossible to back in any land base casino underage. At stake are their liquor and gambling licenses. If you dont win popped at the door they can track you on camera and send a security guard. And if you win and try to cask out they may card you again. Best is to use an ID even if it isnt great because they only just glance at it.
