When playing poker, how do they talk to each other in the message box?

If you are asking how you chat at the online poker room table, simply type in the chat box.
If you do not see a chat box, click on the 'chat tab'. This tab will be named something different on some online sites, so it really depends on which site you are talking about.
For example, on Poker Stars (visit poker stars: http://www.kickasspoker.com/poker-rooms/... you can select different tabs along the bottom left hand side of the screen. FullTilt Poker is similar... just click in the box and type away.
If you are asking how people talk to one another while playing poker online, they are using sites like instant message etc... beware if a player types his hand into the chat box for no real reason... this is normally an accident that they were trying to type their hand into an instant messenger window and might be colluding with another player.
Click your cursor into the box and type and then hit enter of you are done.
