The best strategy for Blackjack is obviously an advanced card-counting system that gives the player an edge over the house (figure in the neighborhood of 2%).
It's unrealistic to expect the average player to take the time to learn such a system, though. For those of us who enjoy BJ, but don't want to make a living of it are better off just using basic strategy. If you do a web-search for "Blackjack" AND "basic strategy," you should come up with many pages to get you started.
It's easy to remember, and most casinos don't even mind if you bring a little cheat-sheet with you.
If your goal is to "have fun gambling," just do that. If your idea of "having fun" doesn't include losing money, do what you can to take the gamble out of gambling.
